My animals and I love the practice! They will see my animal the same day I call. The staff (both up-front, and the technicians in the back) are pleasant, friendly and professional. The doctors are caring. I loved Dr. Larick too, but he retired folks. Come on folks, give this practice a try.
So compassionate! We had to put our elder dog down and the staff was amazingly sympathetic but professional during such a heart wrenching experience. The card we got in the mail a few days later letting us know they were thinking of our family was such a kind gesture!

Best Vet in Town! I have been going to Powhatan vet for years and have not found a more trustworthy clinic in the area. I drive 30 minutes out to Powhatan just to see Dr Menasco - best vet out there! She is kind, empathetic and and extremely knowledgeable. I feel that I can trust whatever she says and she will not try to up sell me on unneeded procedures or medicines.
