Cozy acres is a family run affair. They OBVIOUSLY take great pride in thier offering, and with good cause. The place is absolutely spectacular! The staff, STUNNING! 'Friendly' just doesn't do them justice, AND the price is right!

A note of caution that has nothing to do with the campground -- if you use WAZE to get there, it WILL get you there via the shortest route, BUT a newbie driving a large (ok large for me) motorhome for the first time may find the 1 1/2 lane unmarked very windy country back roads somewhat... hair-raising. Just sayin'. and 'shoulder's? what shoulders? Google maps would be MUCH better.... again. Just sayin.

Nicely maintained relaxing campground. We often open up the RV season here because of the close proximity to home and full hookups. If you are traveling through and just need a place to stop, this is a safe and beautiful place to spend a little time. Very close to Richmond, VA and lots of history.

Truly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this lovely campground. So peaceful....a charming property which included several ponds with hiking trails and a lovely gazebo and covered bridge. Large campsites and a very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return to this one

We only did a one-nighter -- this WAS spur of the moment. but I would gladly, and plan to, return again and again.

Love, Love, Love this campground! My family and I go all the time! Great fishing ponds and clean pool. There's Even a game room for the kids!

We came with little, after all, we only picked up our RV the previous weekend, and being extreme newbies came ill prepared. The on-site country store had what we needed, little things mostly, but firewood was a must that we didn't preplan for, and 'hot dog buns'. yes we brought dogs and such but in our rush and glee to get on the road, we forgot hot dog buns. The store didn't carry them, but our host was extraordinarily gracious and provided a couple from the cafe stock. Unexpected, but most appreciated. She didn't need to do that, and we didn't expect it, but like I said, the family clearly cares about providing a wonderful experience. She even brought the firewood to our spot for us when the store closed. Again - an extra that was not expected, or required, but very gratefully appreciated.

This place is amazing. Wonderful staff, beautiful park, kid and pet friendly. Love the family atmosphere. Best and most beautiful place to stay.

needed a 'shakedown' trip for our new (to us) class A RV. short fused, but was able to get a space in Cozy Acres on a same day basis. BONUS!.. Lesson learned: Camping in an RV is not really a spur of the moment deal, unless you are into dry camping in places like walmart parking lots.. nothing wrong with that, but not really what we wanted for our first trip.

Bottom line: EXCELLENT campground, run by friendly and caring family that clearly takes great pride in their place. WELL worth a visit!
